How to use ABC Gauze:

• Clean the wound (if necessary).
• Open a packet of ABC Gauze and apply 1 or more layers directly on the area that’s bleeding. For more severe bleeding, pack ABC Gauze directly into the wound. (You can cut or trim ABC Gauze to size.)
• Apply slight pressure until ABC Gauze is saturated.
• The ABC Gauze that makes contact with the blood will turn into a safe, clear gel that will serve as a clot for the wound.
• You can rinse away any excess ABC Gauze with sterile water or Saline Don’t worry—washing off excess ABC Gauze will NOT reopen the wound and will NOT restart the bleeding!
• If you want to remove ABC Gauze, simply rinse it away with sterile water. ABC Gauze is water-soluble. There is no painful sticky adhesive to remove like an ordinary bandage or gauze.

How it works:

• Right after you apply ABC Gauze to the area that’s bleeding, it turns into a clear gel that expands, applies slight pressure, and adheres to the bleeding surface, physically blocking and sealing off the damaged blood vessels.
• When ABC Gauze transforms into the Collagen-Like gel, it increases platelet aggregation and stabilizes clot formation.
